OK, we blocked 2 thru 11 June. Looking forward to it!

And there seems to be a triple bonus for the attendees: According to my agenda we have (at least) THREE birthdays in that week; Peter Mallon, Derek French and Nick "the Hound" Reynolds.

:hb2:  :beer2: :beer8: Talk about non-stop partying! :broccoli: :fuzzy: :cucumber: :congrats: :hat4: :mouse: :pepper: :strawberry:
:wine2: :woo: :sunny: :hopcake: :flag-of-uk: :flag-british: :stanollie:

BritSToc 17

Yes really 17. Doesn't time fly?
A date has been decided and it is Friday 2nd June until Sunday the 4th.
It will take place in North Wales. Snowdonia neck of the woods. A final destination has not been set yet. A few ideas of locations have been received but any more ideas will be considered.
Preference seems to be a reasonable priced hotel but if camping is nearby then that's a bonus.
On the Sunday we will then travel to Ireland. Possibly from Holyhead for a short tour around Ireland. Possibly staying in two different places and having day trips.

When crossing to Ireland might also be worth considering an evening in Dublin itself for the last night. Find a hotel somewhere near to a DART train station. Live music in the bars in the Temple Bar area just south of the Ha'penny Bridge can be a hoot. Then catch the ferry out of Dublin the following morning (8 am sailing) and sober up on the boat!
I love being right. If only it happened more often...

Due to me being exceptionally busy work wise recently I have not really had enough time to do any proper planning a, although I have thought about it a lot.

After looking around this morning I think I have found a location, the only issue is parking which seems to be on the street, I have no issue with that but do you?

llandudno seems to be a my choice of the day, I have narrowed it down to a few hotels but would appreciate an opinion of the location

As long as there are lamp posts to tie ZZ up, I'm fine too.

Peter. Using the link provided - there appear to be plenty of available hotels, most with private parking advertised. The area looks great. Count us in.

Do we have a hotel picked in Wales? Should we make reservations?
Is there unanimity about spending the last day in Dublin?
Do we have to prebook the ferry from Wales to Ireland and from Dublin to the UK?
Where does the ferry from Dublin land in the UK?

I ask because we will need to prebook our ferry trips to and from the UK.
