The town has a premier inn and a travel lodge which is why I had considered it.

Looked. Cammy, it doesn't seem to get very good reviews. When did you stay there?

Peter. It was only 3 or 4 years ago. We stayed in the bunkhouse but some of the party used the hotel rooms. Food was fine and nobody had any complaints. Bunk house was really basic though - but it suited our needs having been on the go for 24 hours. The reason I suggested it was a group of 6/8 older guys on vintage bikes were staying there too.

Pan Clan has stayed at the Waterloo Hotel in Betws-y-Coed before now. Hotel at the front, but chalets at the back with safe bike parking. Not sure about pricing though. However any reviews generally have to be taken with a pinch of salt. It depends often on expectations. We don't expect too much other than beer at the bar, mainly, so anywhere with a bar (or a bar nearby) would score a 100% if we review it!!!
I love being right. If only it happened more often...
